Genevieve York, a classically trained pianist, earned a bachelor's degree in Music Composition from Occidental College in Los Angeles, and studied music abroad at the University of York in England.  She has been writing lyrics and composing for much of her adult life. She released a solo EP in 2015 with Grammy winning producer Robert Eibach.   Her music has been featured in TV and Film, including Dateline NBC.  She has been writing solo piano music this past year, a reflection of her classical music roots, under the stage name Aster Marigold.
